The royal was greeted with joyful cheers and gasps from the audience, becoming the first member of the Royal Family to take a seat on Graham's famous red sofa.
William's appearance focused largely on the work of The Earthshot Prize, the environmental initiative he launched in 2020 to find and support innovative solutions to some of the world's biggest environmental challenges.

However, the conversation also touched on some of his personal interests, including his support for beloved football club Aston Villa and his love of films directed by Christopher Nolan.
The Prince also revealed that his family has become obsessed with Celebrity Traitors, with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis among the show's biggest fans.

William's surprise appearance offered viewers a rare glimpse of the royal's more relaxed side, as he joined the host and his guests for a chat about everything from environmental issues to football and family life.
The episode brought together a varied line-up of guests, with Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett, wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and actress Hannah Waddingham all joining Norton on the sofa before the unexpected arrival of the future king.
