Rachel Allen's daughter Scarlett is following in her footsteps and taking her first steps into the food industry - and she's not alone.
The 17-year-old is joining forces with her second cousin Tamsin, who also hails from a food dynasty; her father, Cullen Allen, is a co-founder of Cully & Sully soup.
Tamsin recounted how they shared an idyllic childhood centred around food.
'Scarlett grew up next to the cookery school and my family's in the field next to Ballymaloe. We used to go over and pick raspberries, and were just always surrounded by food,' she told the Irish Independent.
On following her famous mum into the industry, Scarlett admitted that it's only recently that she settled on the idea of cooking once she leaves school.
The cousins will be taking part in a cooking demo at Folly Festival in Laois this August. When they take to the stage at the festival, they will be joined by Rachel.
They say Rachel had plenty of helpful tips to share and is a pro at keeping the crowd 'engaged.'
The cousins previously revealed how a love of food was instilled in them from a young age.
In Scarlett's case, that was her great-grandmother Myrtle, who was the first Irish woman to win a Michelin star, teaching her how to peel shrimp when she was about four or five.
Now their next big aim is to make a splash at Electric Picnic.
