East 17 have announced plans to release a greatest hits album to celebrate their 35th anniversary.
The band were founded in 1991 by members Tony Mortimer, Terry Coldwell, Brian Harvey, and John Hendy, before they burst onto the scene the following year. They are of course renowned for their hit, Stay Another Day.
Now, East 17 have announced that they will release a new album full of remastered versions of their most famous tracks, dubbed, the Best Of, arriving on December 4. It will include CD and vinyl formats, along with 2CD/DCD set, as well ten remastered remixes and 16 restored official music videos.
The album will also include a special new Megamix from The Alias, as well as previously unseen photography from Lawrence Watson, who was renowned for his work in the NYC hip hop scene of the 1980s.

Speaking previously, Tony Mortimer had told The Daily Star newspaper, that there were no plans for East 17 to reunite, saying that he and former bandmates have not spoken in "several years".
"Me, Terry and John were in a record company, and that, kind of, ended badly with the company. So, we haven't really spoken since then", he told the outlet in 2024. "I think East 17 is viewed by the outside as a living thing, but it doesn't really exist anymore, but with us".
