Rod Stewart Says He Hopes To Spend More Time In Ireland In The Future

Rod Stewart has spoken about his hopes to spend more time in Ireland in the future.

In a recent interview, Rod Stewart has said that he and his wife Penny Lancaster are looking forward to spending more time in the country in the near future.

“I can’t wait to get back to Dublin,” Stewart said. “Do you know I have an apartment there now?”.

He was then asked, “So I hear – near the Aviva [Stadium]”.

“Just up the road,” came Stewart’s response.

“Would you spend more time here?”, Stewart was then asked in this interview.

“We intend to,” was his reply. “It’s decorated now… I think we’re coming over in the first week of May”.

Elsewhere, Rod Stewart also added that he is excited to sing Irish ballad Grace at his upcoming Dublin show. He said, “I’ll even do it twice if requested”.

The Scottish singer will be coming to Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham next month (May 26).
