Ryan Giggs denies allegations in court

Ryan Giggs has appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester today, accused of kicking his ex-girlfriend and throwing her out of their hotel room, despite her being naked, after having an argument.

He is also accused of attacking Kate Greville and her sister at his home.  Giggs has also been accused of coercive control including making threats of sending emails to her friends and employer about her sex life.  

Kate claims this all happened when she tried to end the relationship.  The former Manchester United player would turn up at her workplace, home and at the gym to harass her.  

Ryan Giggs denies the allegations and looks forward to "clearing his name".
