Snoop Dogg has defended David Beckham amid the much publicised feud within his family.

This comes after the former footballer's son Brooklyn Beckham shared an explosive statement that he has no plans to reconcile with his family, following months of rumours.

At the centre of this feud are allegations from Brooklyn, accusing his mother Victoria of disrupting what he called an intimate first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz at the couple's wedding in April 2022.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn wrote. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life".

"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” he added, “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.” He concluded, “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life".

"family man"

Now, Snoop Dogg who served as DJ for that wedding, has defended David Beckham amid this feud, describing his long term friend as a devoted "family man".

"David is my boy, we have been friends for over 20 years now," the rapper told the Mirror. "We have seen each other's kids grow up, and one thing about David is that he is a family man".

He continued: "It doesn't matter what level of success he has had in his life, there ain't nothing more important to him than his family".

Snoop Dogg also went on to add that this feud can be resolved in time.

"No family is perfect, right, but when you are a family in the public eye, it's hard - it's even more of a pressure," he added "I know the love that family has for each other - and in time, they are gonna work things out".

Elsewhere, David Beckham's former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos claimed that this ongoing feud within the Beckham family and Brooklyn's explosive statement has vindicated: "what I said said 22 years ago".

She said: “Suddenly you're part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago.”

She continued: “Brooklyn is basically confirming inauthentic relationships, value of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it's all focused on brand Beckham, and that that's all that matters".

Loos had previously made headlines after she had alleged that she had an affair with David Beckham while working as his PA during his time playing for Real Madrid.
