EastEnders is set to feature a cameo appearance from Strictly Come Dancing favourite La Voix, with reports suggesting the drag performer will appear in a special episode linked to the soap’s upcoming Pride celebrations.
La Voix, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, is expected to appear in Walford for a performance at the Queen Vic, as part of an LGBTQ+ storyline marking Pride Month on the long-running BBC One soap.
The planned appearance is said to form part of the show’s wider Pride-themed programming, which has featured annually since 2019, and will see residents of Albert Square take part in community celebrations.
A source told The Sun: "Since starring on Strictly last year, La Voix has absolutely been the Beeb’s top pick, helping them host events and even announcing the UK’s scores for Eurovision.
The source added: "So when there was discussion about a drag queen performing at Walford Pride, there was only ever one option. La Voix was absolutely thrilled to be asked and bosses hope viewers enjoy the fun Pride special."

La Voix gained wider recognition through BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, where she became a fan favourite during her time on the series.
Since then, she has continued to work with the broadcaster across entertainment formats, including live events and Eurovision-related appearances.
While BBC has not formally confirmed casting details for the episode, the cameo is expected to feature as part of an upcoming Pride storyline in EastEnders, continuing the soap’s recent focus on LGBTQ+ representation and community-driven plots.
Stricly Come Dancing have been revealing, slowly but surely, their new season's contestant lineup.
EastEnders star Lacey Turner has been confirmed as the first celebrity contestant for Strictly Come Dancing 2026, marking her long-anticipated debut on the BBC ballroom show.
The announcement was made via the show’s official social media channels, revealing that the 38-year-old actress will join the upcoming series when it returns later this year.
Turner, best known for playing Stacey Slater in EastEnders, is currently on an extended break from the soap and is expected to use the time to begin training for the demanding dance competition ahead of the new series.
