The staff who worked at Taylor Swift's mammoth Eras Tour were left in tears as they received their cash bonuses.
According to reports in People, the singer has generously handed everyone who worked during the tour a share of $197 million for their part in making it the success that it was. The tour ran for 149 shows overall. Launching in March 2023, the tour finished in December 2024, grossing more than $2 billion.
Fans were shown how people reacted to receiving their bonuses from this tour, during an episode of Swift's Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era.
Writing letters to her team, Taylor Swift wrote: “Bonus day is so important, because setting a precedent with The Eras Tour is so important to me, because people who work on the road, if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus".
In one clip, production assistant Max Holmes opened his latter, and almost passed out when he saw how much money he was gifted by Swift.
Meanwhile, dancer Kameron Saunders read out a latter she received from Swift: “Dearest Kam, we’ve travelled the world like we set out to do. We’ve dazzled the crowds, but we’ve missed family too. My full gratitude doesn’t come from a bank, but here’s [bleep] dollars just to say thanks. Love, Taylor".
The first two of six episodes from Swift's docuseries, The End of an Era premiered last week.
