The waxwork draws inspiration from Swift’s record-breaking The Eras Tour, aiming to reflect the singer’s signature style and on-stage presence.
Museum organisers say the update is designed to offer a more immersive, photo-friendly experience for visitors, as Dublin continues to attract strong tourism interest linked to major international artists.
Swift’s inclusion also carries a subtle Irish connection.
The museum notes that she shares her surname with Jonathan Swift, the celebrated author of Gulliver’s Travels, who is also represented within the attraction.
While there is no direct family link, the nod adds a local cultural tie-in for Irish audiences.
The launch forms part of a broader refresh at the venue, which has introduced a number of upgrades in recent months as it looks to modernise its offering and appeal to a younger, social media-driven audience.

Wax museums globally have increasingly leaned into interactive exhibits and recognisable pop culture figures to boost footfall, particularly as competition from other entertainment attractions grows.
Swift, one of the most influential artists of her generation, has enjoyed unprecedented global success in recent years.
Her Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time, with multiple sold-out dates across Europe — including highly anticipated shows in Ireland — further cementing her popularity with Irish fans.
The National Wax Museum Plus is widely regarded as one of Dublin’s leading tourist attractions, offering visitors an immersive journey through Irish culture, history and entertainment.
Its collection features a broad range of figures from both Irish and international spheres, spanning music, literature, film and politics, and is designed to appeal to both tourists and locals alike.
The new Taylor Swift figure is now on permanent display at the National Wax Museum Plus.
