Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has reportedly called time on her whirlwind romance with millionaire interior designer Adam Fadlé. The pair began dating over the summer and made their relationship public when they arrived together at co-star Jack P. Shepherd’s wedding in July, but the spark appears to have faded quickly.
Insiders say Tina, who plays Sarah Platt on the long-running ITV soap, ended things after deciding the relationship “wasn’t going anywhere” and that she didn’t want to invest energy in something “that was never going to last.”
According to friends, her blunt assessment came as a shock to Adam, who had believed the relationship had real potential and genuinely enjoyed the time they spent together. Sources claim he was left “stunned” by how quickly things came to an end.
Tina has already made the split clear publicly: she has removed every trace of Adam from her Instagram, including photos from their romantic Greek getaway back in September. The quick deletion signals that the short-lived fling is firmly in the past.
The breakup also comes in the wake of a difficult year for the actress. Tina’s seven-year marriage to ex-husband Adam Crofts reportedly ended over last Christmas, with the separation becoming public earlier this year.
