Tom Cruise has finally gone public with his actress girlfriend Ana de Armas after months of speculation.
The couple were pictured in Woodstock, Vermont this week looking loved up and holding hands.
After a year of globe trotting they decided to visit the small country town for a romantic getaway.
According to TMZ, the Mission Impossible star and Ballerina actress drove through a national park together, went shopping and stopped for ice cream while there.
Tom also flew Ana into London in his helicopter last weekend to watch Oasis make their comeback at Wembley stadium.
Rumours about the pair’s romantic relationship began in February when they were first seen on a night out but a source told People that the outing was a professional meeting with agents rather than a date.
In May they were papped leaving David Beckham’s 50th birthday party and earlier this month they were spotted on a yacht in Spain.
According to a source at the time: “Tom and Ana have grown closer over the past couple of months and he has huge respect for her as an actress.
“He is developing a new film and he has approached Ana to be his leading lady. Ana is one of the best actresses in the business as far as Tom is concerned and he wants her by his side in the new movie.
“Tom has a lot on his plate at the moment, with his new Mission: Impossible film being released later this month and another film called Judy in the works.
“But this new project is really exciting for Tom and he wants Ana to be in it with him.”
The photos from Vermont come just days after de Armas was accused of being ageist and cruel after she liked a post demeaning Cruise’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman. The post compared pictures of Kidman in 1996 to now and accused her of lying about not getting any cosmetic work done.
Following the perceived slight, one Reddit user took aim at de Armas' acting talent, writing: 'Looks fade, talent doesn’t. Nicole’s had a 40 year career. Let’s see where Ana’s is in 10.'
'Nicole Kidman has more talent, beauty, and grace than she ever will have,' another penned.
Cruise has been married three times — to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes — and has three children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, with Kidman, and Suri, 19, with Holmes. de Armas was recently linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba’s president. She previously dated Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis and actor Ben Affleck.
It was reported at the time that de Armas broke up her high profile relationship with Affleck because he wasn't willing to have any more children – so it will be interesting to see how eager Cruise is to add to his family.
