The show will return for a brand new season this Autumn and it has been reported that they are looking for new members for the upcoming season. The same familiar faces will be on screen but they are currently on the hunt for new members. The series began in 2013 on Channel 4, the show features friends and families watching and commenting on television programmes together.
Virgin Media have stated that they are looking for people of the 'TikTok generation', that enjoy discussing and watching what is on TV. They're looking for a group of friends in their early twentys.
They added that they are also looking for a new family to join the cast of GoggleBox Ireland. They are specifically looking for a family with children aged 12+. Intergenerational households and those interested in news and current affairs are also stated as a priority.
