Stanley Tucci, 64, has shown vulnerability speaking up about his marriage to Felicity Blunt, 43, and the bittersweet realities of growing older with a much younger partner. In a heartfelt new interview with The Times of London, the actor admitted that their 21-year age gap sometimes weighs on him, even though their bond remains one of the greatest joys of his life.
“I am sad that I won’t see her get old and that I won’t be able to look after her if she needs looking after,” he shared. “I think there’s something really beautiful about people aging together. And unless there’s some miracle, that can’t happen.”
Tucci met Felicity — the sister of his The Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt — at Emily’s wedding to John Krasinski in 2010. The two connected shortly after, and what began as a friendship quickly grew into a deep relationship. They married in 2012, first in a quiet civil ceremony and later with a larger celebration at Middle Temple Hall in London, surrounded by family and close friends, including many of Tucci’s Hollywood colleagues.
