On Saturday, during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, the singer was performing on top of a red convertable that was suspended in the air. The car began to tilt, as the singer was attached to a harness and slowly brought down. According to her entertainment and management company, she was without injury as she was safely brought down.
Concert attendees captured the moment and posted to TikTok, it shows the singer attached to a harness and holding onto one of the cables as the prop car slants to the side. The music stops as Beyoncé says into the microphone to her fans "Thank y’all for your patience,” as she is returning to the centre of the stage.
Her managment released a statement after the prop malfunction which reads "Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt," Parkwood Entertainment said, "She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident."
According to Hot New Hip Hop, she left the stage briefly after the prop car was lowered down to the stage, she returned shortly after to finish off her set.
The reason for malfunction has not been revealed. Beyoncé has also not commented on the incident, however she did take to Instagram to express her love for Houston and to make a light hearted joke as she captions her post "Sittin' Sidewayz."

Beyoncé cut her flying prop car from the night two show in Houston. The singer expresses gratitude to her fans as she says "I want to say thank you guys for all of your prayers, all of your well wishes," during night two on Sunday.
The Cowboy Carter stop in Houstons comes after the international leg of the tour as she performed six nights in London and three nights in Paris.
