Ronson was speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show yesterday morning. The DJ revealed that he is keeping his diary empty for the next year in hopes of being able to DJ at Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August and they have since been bombarded with questions on what their wedding plans are. However Swift did mention on the Graham Norton show that she plans to focus on her new album 'The Life Of A Showgirl' and that the wedding planning will come after that.
Mills and Ronson discussed on the breakfast show that the band Foreigner offered their services to be the wedding band for Swift and Kelces wedding.
“I have seen that Foreigner have offered to play Taylor Swift’s wedding…I wonder if she has said anything yet?" Mills said. “I think there [are] a lot of people putting themselves up for that gig. Me, I am keeping the year open as well…ou don’t know who is going to get the call," Ronson replied.
Ronson revealed that he was the DJ at Selena Gomez's wedding and that Taylor Swift was in attendance. “I did not see her on the dance floor so I probably didn’t do the best job of selling…my services there,” he joked. “It was a lot of fun. I have known Benny for ten years and when he got engaged he was like will you come and do like a 90s DJ set at my wedding and I was like sure," he said. Ronson went on to suggest that he could team up with Foreigner for the wedding performance.
However, Swift has already hinted that Ed Sheeran may perform at her wedding. Read more here.
