Ukraine's President Believes Face-To-Face Meeting With Vladimir Putin Is Necessary

He believes it's the only way to achieve a diplomatic end to the war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke to reporters underground, urging world leaders to be brave - and thanked those who've provided military aid.

Asked about any use of nuclear weapons, he says he hopes Russia won't resort to that.

 

Meanwhile in Ireland, reports are circulating on social media about another public rally supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine. 

Russian supporters have pencilled in May 7th for a public demonstration at Dublin's Phoenix Park. 

It follows a car rally earlier this month on the M50 which was later slammed as 'disgusting' by the Ukrainian Embassy here.
