Destiny's Child reunited for an intimate one-off performance in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The trio of Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams reunited for this one off performance, as Rowland's husband and talent manager Tim Weatherspoon celebrated his 50th birthday at a LA lounge.

At the party, his wife, along with Beyoncé and Williams surprised attendees with an impromptu performance, singing a rendition of 'Happy Birthday', which was described by guests as the "highlight" of the event.

Destiny's Child burst onto the music scene in the late 1990s, after they released their best-selling album, 'The Writing's On The Wall', which included the original line up of Rowland, Knowles-Carter, alongside childhood friends LaTavia Robinson, and LeToya Lukett.

The final line up comprised of Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams, which went to release some of their well-known hits, including 'Independent Woman Part 1', 'Cater 2 U', and 'Survivor'.

Separating in 2006, Destiny's Child have reunited several times over the years, including joining forces at Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show in 2013, while Rowland and Knowles-Carter featured on Michelle Williams' track 'Just Say Yes' a year later.

They also performed at the 2015 Steller Gospel Music Awards, and reunited at Beyoncé's iconic 'Beychella' headline show at Cochella in 2018.
