Rick Astley has announced two shows in Dublin and Belfast for next March, as part of his 'Are We There Yet' tour.

Fresh from his recent exploits at Glastonbury, the 'Never Gonna Give You Up' hitmaker will take to the stage at Belfast's SSE Arena on 4 March 2024, before performing at Dublin's 3 Arena the following day.

Theses shows are part of Astley's 'Are We There Yet' Tour, supporting his album of the same name, which arrives on October 6.

“Now, that phrase has multiple meanings. Are we there yet in my musical ambitions? Am I done with my career? Have we arrived? Or are we still travelling?” , Astley said of the album.

On what sort of music we can expect from this album, Rick Astley added, “It’s not Americana, but the tag-line at the start of the chorus is: ‘Dipping my feet in the Mississippi River…’ It’s definitely not country, but I’ve never twanged a guitar as much as I have in the past couple of months. And there’s a bit more emotion with those guitar parts. I just think spending five months in America has retuned my ear a little bit".

The tour will also see Rick Astley take in shows across the UK, including Glasgow, Bournmouth, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, along with a show at London's Royal Albert Hall in November.

For this tour, Rick Astley will also be supported by Scouting For Girls, with tickets going on sale from Friday 14 July, via Ticketmaster at 9.30am.
