Travis Scott's Nike Air Max 1 Collaboration Postponed Following Astroworld Tragedy

Nike have postponed the release of the Cactus Jack Air Max 1 sneaker collaboration with Travis Scott following the tragedy at the rappers' live performance at Astroworld where the crowd surge resulted in the death of ten people.

Nike representatives told fans that the collaboration would be put on hold “out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival”.

Intially planned for released on December 16, Nike has yet to confirm the new release date for the sneakers. 

Along with Nike, Fortnite have also removed their Travis Scott emote from their game shortly after the festival took place.
