Pamela Anderson has made her TikTok debut, but not to promote a new project...

Instead, the actress has brought followers into her garden on Vancouver Island, giving fans a glimpse of the quieter life she has created away from Hollywood.

Anderson shared videos of herself tending to her sprawling garden, surrounded by roses, vegetables and greenery.

Her posts quickly attracted attention, with followers praising both the garden and the peaceful lifestyle she appears to have built for herself.

One follower wrote: “We love you Pamela! What a gorgeous garden.”

Another commented: “Beautiful garden, beautiful woman... What a peaceful natural life you have created for yourself.”

Anderson has been developing the garden at Arcady, her family property on Vancouver Island, for years.

The seven-acre property includes roses, melons, ground cherries and a huge vegetable-growing area. Her vegetable beds cover around 15,000 square feet.

Despite its size, Anderson says she does not like a garden that looks too organised.

“I’m a romantic gardener. I don’t like straight lines,” she told Architectural Digest.

She has described her garden as “Provençal”, with wildflowers, herbs and vegetables growing alongside each other.

Her approach is also surprisingly simple when it comes to people starting their own garden.

“Just make a lot of mistakes and try,” she said.

Anderson has also summed up gardening in three basic ingredients: “Really, it’s soil, water, and sun. It’s the simplest thing.”

Among her favourite plants are Yves Piaget roses and heirloom tomatoes.

The roses are used for more than decoration. Anderson collects the rose hips and uses them in homemade beauty treatments, including face oils.

Her homegrown produce has also found its way into her cooking and her vegan cookbook, I Love You: Recipes from the Heart.

For Anderson, though, gardening appears to have become about much more than growing food and flowers.

She returned to Vancouver Island around the beginning of the pandemic and began creating the garden as part of a new chapter in her life.

“When I moved home to restart, I instantly thought, I’m going to make an incredible garden,” she told Architectural Digest.

She later compared the process of growing a garden with rebuilding her own life.

“You can replant your garden every year, rotate your crops,” she said. “I started learning a lot about it and thought, this is how I want my life to be.”

Anderson has described Arcady as the place “where everything came back together for me”, saying her current chapter “started in the garden.”

She has also spoken about the simple pleasure of working with the earth.

“There’s just something about it, getting your hands dirty, even being barefoot in the garden, something about it connects me back to who I am,” she said. “That’s where I found myself again.”

So while Pamela Anderson may have just joined TikTok, it seems she is far more interested in sharing roses, vegetables and a slower pace of life than chasing the latest social media trend.
