Prime Video has released the first official images from Boys of Tommen, the television adaptation of the bestselling book series by West Cork author Chloe Walsh.
The first-look images feature Nancy Sturridge and Conor Sánchez in the roles of Shannon Lynch and Johnny Kavanagh, the central couple in the Cork-set adaptation. Set in the fictional town of Ballylaggin, the photographs show the pair in their school setting at Tommen College, offering an early glimpse of the relationship that drives the series.
Based on Walsh's hugely popular novels Binding 13 and Keeping 13, the series follows the relationship between rugby star Johnny and shy newcomer Shannon as they navigate personal struggles and growing feelings at the prestigious Tommen College.

Set from 1997 to 2007, Walsh's novels are steeped in nostalgia, capturing a time before smartphones and social media and offering readers an authentic glimpse into teenage life in early 2000s Ireland.
Originally self-published in 2018, the series found widespread success through social media, introducing Walsh's work to a new generation of readers.
The cast also includes up and coming talent such as James O'Donoghue, Sophie McGibbon, Eoin Macken and Amy Huberman, who are captured in some of the newly released images.
