Comedian Jimmy Carr being sued by his father

Comedian Jimmy Carr is being sued for defamation by his own father.

Jim Carr Senior, age 77, says there has been one too many gags about him and he's had enough.  The final straw appears to be the release of Jimmy's latest memoir "Before And Laughter" aswell as comments Jimmy has made on recent podcasts.  

Jim, who is originally from Ireland, is a businessman and has his reputation to protect.  It's been over 20 years since he has been in contact with his son.  Jimmy's mother passed away in 2001 when she was just 57.  3 years later, he brought his dad to court for harassment but the case was thrown out.
