Golden Globe Nominee Barry Keoghan Thanks Saltburn Crew For 'Pushing' Him Every Day

Having been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the second year running, Saltburn star Barry Keoghan has thanked his the film's cast and crew who "pushed" him every day.

Nominated for Best Actor for his role as Oliver Quick in the psychological thriller, Keoghan is one of three Irish actors who received a nod for that category, alongside Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, and All Of Us Strangers star Andrew Scott, who co stars in the Andrew Haigh directed film, alongside Paul Mescal.

Hailing the Salburn set as “the best in the game”, Barry Keoghan said, “Thank you to the best cast for pushing me everyday and for making it an experience I won’t forget". 

“Thank you Margot, Josey and Tom, everyone at Amazon and MRC", Keoghan added. “And biggest thank you to you, Emerald, an incredible director, writer and above all, human that I am deeply grateful to have collaborated with and for allowing me to have an opportunity to elevate and grow as an actor and person". 

Leonardo Di Caprio (Killers Of The Flower Moon), Colmon Domingo (Rustin), and Bradley Cooper (Maestro) are the other actors nominated in the Best Actor category. 

Last year, Barry Keoghan was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Martin McDonagh directed 'Banshees Of Inisherin'.
