Hundreds of demonstrators took part in an anti-immigration march through Dublin city centre after gathering at the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square for what organisers promoted as a "national rally".

Participants waved Irish flags and chanted slogans such as "Help Ireland, not the world" and "Get them out, out, out" as they marched across O'Connell Bridge before making their way back along O'Connell Street.

The demonstration concluded with speeches outside the GPO, where Independent Dublin City Councillor Malachy Steenson, one of the organisers, addressed the crowd. Independent councillors Gavin Pepper and Tom McDonnell also attended the event.

National Party flags and banners were visible among the crowd, while the march was led by participants carrying a prominent banner bearing the message "No to the EU Migration Pact".
