A man has died in a three-vehicle crash on the N7 near the Kildare/Dublin border
The incident involving a truck and two cars happened at 6:40pm yesterday evening on the N7 Westbound near Rathcoole in Co Dublin.
The male truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, with the body taken for a Post Mortem examination.
Meanwhile five others were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for a forensic examination, but has now re-opened.
Anyone who was in the area between 6:30 and 7pm last night, and who may have dashcam footage, are being asked to come forward.
