Bruno Mars has responded after fans of Taylor Swift accused him of liking a post that dissed her.

The post in question was seemingly a video of Swift performing on stage during one of the shows of her ‘Eras Tour’ back in 2023 or 2024, with the caption describing her as “Talentless”.

The alleged interaction quickly began circulating among fans online, sparking backlash and fuelling speculation of tension between the two global pop stars.

After seemingly “liking” the post made on X (formerly Twitter), some fans reached out to him on social media to criticise him for supporting a hate post about the 14-time Grammy winner.

Then, in response, the Silk Sonic star moved quickly to shut down the narrative and clarify his stance.

“Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me,”he wrote.“Only love over here.”

As highlighted by Billboard, there is currently no sight of the original post on X, and the account that seemingly made the update has since disappeared — adding further uncertainty as to whether the interaction was genuine, accidental, or manipulated.

The brief controversy comes against the backdrop of both artists’ enormous global success. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has become one of the most successful tours in music history, grossing billions worldwide and breaking records across the board, including several sold-out nights in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

The Eras Tour has been widely credited with reshaping the live music industry, boosting local economies and setting a new benchmark for stadium performances.

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars has spent over a decade as one of pop’s most consistent hitmakers, known for chart-toppers like “Uptown Funk”, “24K Magic”, and “Just the Way You Are”. His collaboration project Silk Sonic alongside Anderson .Paak also earned critical acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards, further cementing his reputation as a versatile performer.

Importantly, there has never been any public feud between Mars and Swift. In fact, the two artists have crossed paths professionally over the years and have both maintained reputations for being supportive within the industry — making the rumours feel particularly unfounded to many fans.

Mars is also gearing up for a major return to the stage. He’ll be heading out on a world stadium tour later this summer, and demand has already proven massive.

The singer was forced to add 31 new dates due to what organisers described as “overwhelming demand” for tickets. The tour has already broken records, achieving the biggest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation North American tour history — a clear sign of his enduring popularity.

There's another reason why Bruno Mars has been making headlines lately - and it's a good one.

Bruno Mars’ long-awaited fourth studio album, The Romantic, marked his first solo release in nearly a decade — and it’s already proving to be a major commercial success. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, shifting around 186,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 93,500 pure sales and nearly 94 million streams across its tracks.

This makes it his first-ever No. 1 debut and his second chart-topping album overall, underlining just how strong demand was following his long break from solo material.

The success hasn’t just been limited to the album charts. Tracks from the record have dominated globally, with all songs landing on the Billboard Hot 100 in its opening week, while singles like “I Just Might” and “Risk It All” have performed particularly strongly — the latter debuting at No. 4.

Mars has also been riding a wider wave of momentum, with recent collaborations like “APT.” becoming the biggest-selling global single of 2025, pulling in over 2 billion units worldwide. Altogether, it points to a huge comeback era for the singer, with The Romantic cementing his status as one of the most commercially reliable artists in the industry right now.

While the online speculation briefly stirred drama among fanbases, Mars’ quick response appears to have shut down the situation before it could escalate further — reinforcing that, at least publicly, there’s no bad blood between two of the biggest names in music.
