Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's son, Moses Martin appears to have followed in his father's footsteps after launching his music career and sharing a new single, 'Promise'.
The single was released by Moses' band, People I've Met with bandmates Andrew Suster and Orlando Wiltshire. Unlike Martin's Coldplay, Moses' band is focused on an overall moodier, alt rock approach.
People I've Met have already been signed up by Intercope Records, who already represent big names like Billie Eilish, Benny Blanco, Gracie Abrams, BTS, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar.
Towards the end of 2025, Moses Martin revealed via a post on Instagram that his band have now shared their debut single, 'Promise', giving listeners a preview into what to expect from the band.
“So proud of this song. Endlessly grateful for the band and @noahconrad for helping to make this song so special", Moses shared. “Hope you enjoy. Sincerely, Moses Martin".
The pre chorus for this track sees Moses sing: “We’re at the summit of better lives/ Can you give me more time?/ We’re over-damaged and undermined/ Give it up one more time", with his voice resembling that of his father.
Moses, 19 also sings: “Can we just start over?/Can we just be honest?/ I’m tired of feeling/ I’m tired of promise".
Previously, Moses Martin has lend his vocals to some Coldplay songs, including 'Humankind', as well as writing credits for 'All My Love', 'Orphans', and 'The Astronaut'.
Moses' parents are Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow. The former couple were married from 2003 to 2016.
Last month, Moses' father Chris Martin surprised a couple on their wedding day by performing during their first dance.
The wedding took place at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in Rugeley, Staffordshire, where Martin treated the shocked couple to a live performance of 'All My Live' from Coldplay's album, 'Moon Music', which arrived in 2024.
This happened after Coldplay were contacted by the groom's mother, hoping to receive a video of Martin wishing the couple the very best ahead of the wedding.
At this point, the band replied: "We can do one better", and promised to show up in person instead. Footage shows Chris Martin sneaking into the venue incognito, before telling guests "See you later", and quickly leaving. Find out more on this from Nova here.
That same month, Coldplay celebrated 10 years since they released their 2025 album, A Head Full Of Dreams, with a special re release of the record. The original album includes singles, Hymn For The Weekend, Adventure Of A Lifetime, Birds, Up&Up, and Everglow.
