Craig David has announced a one-off show to mark the 25th anniversary of his debut album, 'Born To Do It'.
Originally released in August 2000, 'Born To Do It' reached Number One in the UK, becoming the fastest selling debut album by a British male solo artist ever. Featuring hit singles, '7 Days', and 'Fill Me In', the album has been seen as a breakthrough release in the UK garage and 2 step movements.
It went on to sell 7.5 million copies worldwide.
The singer will play this entire album in full, along with his own solo material at a huge one-off show at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo in London on 9 April next year.
Tickets for this show go on sale this Friday (October 3) via this link here. Fans who have signed up to Craig David's mailing list will get access to a pre-sale code on Wednesday.
“25 years ago, ‘Born to Do It’ changed my life and so many of yours. I couldn’t let this anniversary pass without celebrating it with you. So, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be performing at The Eventim Apollo for an exclusive show on 9th April next year, performing the entire album from start to finish", David has said of this show.
