TikTok have named the songs, artists and music trends which have proved hugely popular in 2025.
The social media platform has helped to launch the music careers of a number of emerging artists, with users able to discover and share new content, as well as dance trends which give trends a new lease of life to songs.
Now, TikTok have named the artists and songs who have dominated 2025, with Jess Glynne, Radiohead and Doechi featuring heavily.
First, they announced that Jess Glynne's hit, 'Hold My Hand' was the platform's UK song Of 2025. The song saw a huge popularity surge, despite being released a decade ago. It featured on the advert for airline company, Jet2, eventually leading to the famous ‘Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday’ meme.
Another song featuring prominently on the list was Radiohead's 'Let Down', which was introduced to a huge generation of fans as the band headed out to their first UK and European Tour in seven years.
Other tracks include Lola Young's 'Messy', as well as Charlie XCX's 'Girl, so Confusing', PinkPintheress' 'Illegal', and Connie Francis' 60s classic, 'Pretty Little Baby', which was used by the app over 28.4 million times and used in videos that gathered around 68.6billion views.

It also emerged that the song from the late Connie Francis reached top spot in the Top 20 Global Songs on TikTok in 2025, a list which also features Black Eyed Peas, Sombr, Gracie Abrams, Doechii and Billie Eilish.
Sombr's track 'Back To Friends' had the most saves on the app, which was used in 7.7 million creations on TikTok, with Tate McRae's 'So Close To What' being the most saved album of the year following its release in February.
The list for TikTok's Most-Saved Music of 2025 via 'Add to Music App', revealed that more than 3 billion songs were saved to playlists on the app, with Taylor Swift being the artist with the most saves from her album, 'The Life Of A Showgirl'.
