Lewis Capaldi stunned shoppers at a local supermarket after he performed a live concert on the roof.
The singer played his new single, 'Something In The Heavens' from an Aldi supermarket roof in Nottingham, which also rebranded its name to 'CapAldi' with a makeshift cardboard sign. This show which took place on Friday (September 26), occurred a few days after the single was released.
This show also saw Capaldi perform his songs, Someone You Loved, and Survive.
"This is Capaldi on the roof of an Aldi", Capaldi said while on the roof. "Sorry to get in the way of anyone's shopping. I was back there earlier, some excellent produce, brioche buns, carrots - the lot".
Speaking about this performance, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, Julie Ashfield said: "It doesn’t get more heavenly than Lewis Capaldi on the roof of an Aldi - it feels like this moment was written in the stars".
"Our customers were treated to something truly unforgettable, and Lewis turned an ordinary day into supermarket history".
Lewis Capaldi recently made a return to the music industry following a two year hiatus.
Having returned for Glastonbury earlier this year, Capaldi followed that up with plans to perform at the Dublin venue on June 24 next year, the singer will now play the day before (June 23). He will also play at Limerick's Thomond Park on June 26 and Belfast Vital Boucher Road on August 20.
He also added a second date at Dublin's Marlay Park due to high demand. More on this here.
