On Saturday (April 18th), Trump posted a four minute video of Frank Sinatra's live performance of 'My Way' without any context. Social media users have been speculating the 'why' of this post, with concern rising given the current talks between the US and Iran.
Nancy later posted on X about Trump's post on the 'Truth Social' platform saying “This is a sacrilege.”

The American actress and singer responded to comments made under her post with one claiming that Frank would have voted for Trump, "Not a chance. You obviously don't know my father at all. Do some homework before you post about him" Nancy said.

Another user asked her if there was anything she could do, however it is up to publishers Because Music and Primary Wave.
Unfortunately no. The only people who can do something are the publishers. https://t.co/qcSrX9zD2H

She has also reposted many posts pointing out that her father would not have agreed with Trump, “@NancySinatra will confirm again that her father loathed Donald Trump,” one user said, whilst another added “Trump may love Sinatra, but Sinatra did not love Trump.”
Trump has used a number of artists songs for his campaign and across his social media accounts which has since caused a wide range of controversy. Many artists such as Adele, Steven Tyler and Neil Young have spoken out and requested that he stopped.
In recent news, a source close to Mick Jagger has denied the statement that he gave Trump permission to use his song in the new documentary 'Melania'. In February, producer Marc Beckman claimed that they were given permission. He told 'Variety' that Jagger “was actually involved” and “gave his blessing."
However, according to The Guardian, the rock icon stated that "he felt scepticism was required as the producer was attempting to promote the documentary."
