Niall Horan has announced a new single, 'Dinner Party'.
The former One Direction singer had previously announced that his fourth studio album was "done", with this new track arriving on March 20.
This marks Horan's first musical release as a solo artist since his 2023 album, The Show, with this upcoming album set to arrive later this year.
"this song is about a really happy and big moment in my life,” said Horan wrote on social media announcing the song. “an evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life. after writing the song, the words 'dinner party' became the nucleus for the rest of the record. that once in a lifetime moment that I am grateful for and for everything that came after that night".

This comes a month after Horan had confirmed that this new album was close to completion, having also collaborated with singer Myles Smith on the track, 'Drive Safe'.
"I'm in here finishing it right now. So I'm in the beat lab!", Horan said. "Fans won't have to wait much longer for a first taste of the new era, as Niall teased: "I'm just finishing off some vocal bits and things like that, that I wasn't happy with, but yeah! I should have music some time this year. And I'm very excited about it!".
He added: "It's tough when someone asks you to do this because, it's very close to his heart, something like very serious to him. And for me to then come and write the rest of it with him was obviously a tall ask". More on this story here.
On working with Smith, Niall Horan also insisted that his appetite for creative chemistry remains strong.
"Then we just met up and we said we'd see what happened and we're in the studio together and it just, it clicked," Niall said. "It meant something to me, and it meant something completely different to him and that's the great thing about these kinds of things",
