Pink has dedicated her nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the "outsiders and underdogs".
The singer was nominated alongside artists like Mariah Carey, Oasis, Lauryn Hill, and Shakira for a chance to join the Class of 2026. Other nominees include The Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, New Edition, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.
Speaking about her nomination, Pink took to Instagram to write: "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee. How is this possible?! Look what we did together y’all!!!!!".
She continued: "I never ever fit neatly into a box. That was kind of the whole point".
"This nomination isn’t mine; it’s ours. It’s for every one of us who ever felt like an outsider or underdog and found something in this music that made them feel less alone. (sic)".
The full list of inductees will be announced in April, as well as the winners of Musical Influence, Musical Excellence and Ahmet Ertegun awards.

Last September, Pink had revealed that she had contracted E coli.
The Who Knew singer had shared details on what coping mechanisms she employed to deal with her illness. She also previously added a photo of herself hooked up to an IV drip, which drew concern from fans.
"When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine," the singer wrote. "And a vitamin IV concoction".
"This is all normal and everything is going really well", she said
