Music legend Sir Rod Stewart has announced what he says will be his final-ever tour, bringing his extraordinary six-decade live career to a close with The Final Encore tour in spring 2027.
The two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will return to Ireland for two major arena shows, performing at Dublin's 3Arena on 23 April 2027 and Belfast's SSE Arena on 27 April 2027. Joining Stewart on the tour as special guest will be acclaimed singer-songwriter Howard Jones.

Having spent more than 60 years performing around the world, Stewart described The Final Encore as his definitive farewell to life on the road.
In a statement, Stewart said: "My dear friends, the time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last. I've been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I've had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you."
He added: "It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I've given you some fond memories in return. So, may I take this opportunity to thank you for making this extraordinary life possible. I hope you'll join me so I can thank you the best way I know how… with the music and one hell of a show."
The tour will see Stewart revisit some of the biggest venues across the UK and Ireland before continuing into mainland Europe.
Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist packed with classic hits including Maggie May, You Wear It Well, Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright), Hot Legs, Young Turks, Baby Jane, among many others.

Over the course of his career, he has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, earned multiple Grammy Awards, topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic, and established himself as one of the most successful live performers of all time. From his early days with the Jeff Beck Group and Faces to his hugely successful solo career, his distinctive voice has become one of rock and pop music's most recognisable sounds.

Joining Stewart on The Final Encore tour is Howard Jones, whose string of 1980s hits including New Song, What Is Love?, Things Can Only Get Better, and No One Is to Blame, helped make him one of the defining artists of the decade. Jones has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and continues to perform to audiences across the globe.
The announcement comes after Stewart was forced to cut short dates on his One Last Time farewell tour earlier this year due to heart surgery. Now recovered, the 81-year-old is preparing to give fans one final opportunity to celebrate a catalogue of songs that has soundtracked generations.
