ABBA celebrated the third anniversary of their acclaimed Voyage Show, as they hosted a VIP party, which included a special performance from Benny Andersson, alongside Elvis Costello and Elbow's Guy Garvey.
To mark this anniversary, the band also announced that they would be making changes to the setlist. This included the introduction of tracks, 'Super Trouper', 'Money Money, Money', as well as 'The Name Of The Game' to the list, while 'When All Is Said And Done' was removed.
At the premiere, these songs went down a treat with the fans in attendance. All tracks included stunning new choreographed visuals.
The premiere itself was also attended by ABBA's Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, as well as U2's Adam Clayton, Elvis Costello, Guy Garvey, Richard Osmon, Rob Brydon, Myleene Klass, Eleanor Tomlinson, Adam Woodyatt, and Mahalia.
At the VIP backstage afterparty, Benny Andersson played the paino, with Garvey and Costello treating the crowd to a live duet, which included Garvey singing ABBA classic, 'The Winner Takes It All' alongside Andersson and Lygnstad. Check this out here.
In a statement, ABBA had this to say.
“When we first opened we never imagined that we’d still be in London three years on,” the band said. “We’re very grateful that so many of you have joined us. Of course, the reason for us being able to sustain our concert for so long is because of our incredible audience. As we say in Sweden… Vilken resa!”.
