Lulu lit up London’s Royal Albert Hall with a star-studded reunion performance of Relight My Fire, joined on stage by Take That and Robbie Williams in a night packed with nostalgia.

The 77-year-old singer returned to the stage for a one-off celebratory concert honouring her long career, with a series of high-profile guests helping mark the occasion.

Among the biggest moments of the night was a live performance of the 1993 hit Relight My Fire, with Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams both appearing alongside Lulu.

The performance also marked a rare reunion for the former Take That bandmates, who shared a stage together for the first time in nearly a decade.

The night carried a strong sense of nostalgia, with Gary Barlow also performing the Take That classic A Million Love Songs, while Robbie Williams later returned to the stage to join Lulu for a rendition of his solo hit Angels.

The concert, introduced by Graham Norton, brought together a number of other well-known performers, including Delta Goodrem and Boy George, who joined Lulu for a performance of Karma Chameleon.

Lulu is a Scottish singer who first rose to fame in the 1960s and has remained a major figure in British pop music ever since.

She’s best known for her powerful voice and hits like Shout, To Sir With Love, and Boom Bang-a-Bang, the latter of which won the UK’s Eurovision entry in 1969.

Over the decades, she’s built a reputation as one of the UK’s most enduring live performers, with a career spanning pop, soul, and musical theatre.

Her connection with Take That began in the early 1990s when she collaborated with the group on their 1993 hit Relight My Fire.

The track became one of Take That’s biggest songs and marked Lulu’s successful comeback to the charts, introducing her to a new generation of fans.

The collaboration was so successful that it’s remained a defining moment in both her career and the band’s early rise.

Since then, Lulu and Take That members — particularly Gary Barlow — have maintained a friendly professional relationship, occasionally reuniting for special performances.

Take That will revive their record-breaking live show The Circus Live in summer 2026, with 11 stadium concerts across the UK and Ireland.

The tour will conclude at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 4 July 2026.

First staged in 2009, The Circus Live became the fastest-selling UK tour in history, selling 600,000 tickets in under five hours and attracting one million fans.

Critics hailed it as a “trailblazing pop show,” with circus performers, acrobats, dancers, and a 30-foot mechanical elephant.

The 2026 tour will feature the original 2009 set list with new surprises. The band promises a show “bigger and bolder than ever.”

Take That said: “The Circus tour was one of our favourite experiences as a band and, in the years since, we’ve talked many times about how much we’d love to do it again one day. That time has come. We’re excited to welcome audiences old and new across the UK and Ireland to The Circus Live next summer.”
