Westlife have released their landmark anniversary album 25 – The Ultimate Collection, marking a major milestone for one of Ireland’s most successful ever music acts as they celebrate 25 years at the top of global pop.
The new collection, released today, brings together some of the band’s biggest hits alongside brand-new material recorded by Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan and Mark Feehily. Available across multiple formats including CD, vinyl, picture disc and cassette, the album celebrates a career that has seen the group dominate charts across the world for more than two decades.
The release includes recent singles “Chariot” and “Your Love Amazes Me”, with “Chariot” written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds, and co-written and produced by longtime collaborator Steve Mac. The track was immediately added to the BBC Radio 2 New Music Playlist A List following its release.
Fans can also expect a collection packed with classic Westlife favourites including “Flying Without Wings”, “Uptown Girl” and “You Raise Me Up”, alongside new music from the band.
In a statement marking the album’s release, Westlife said: “What better way to mark 25 years of Westlife than with an album that brings together our biggest hits alongside new music we’re so proud of. We’re beyond excited to head out on a global tour and celebrate these songs with the fans who’ve made it all possible.”
The album launch comes as the band prepare for their massive Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, which has now expanded globally with newly announced dates across Asia, Mexico, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand.

The tour begins with an extraordinary 13-night residency at Dublin’s 3Arena this September, before continuing across the UK and Europe. The residency will also see the group officially become the most prolific performers in the venue’s history.
Earlier this month, the trio of Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne were honoured at the 3Arena with a special award recognising their record-breaking run at the venue. As part of the tribute, the band’s hands were cast to cement their legacy at the arena.
The Dublin residency alone will bring Westlife’s total number of performances at the venue to an unprecedented 82 shows, a figure unmatched by any other act.
Over the last quarter century, Westlife have become one of the most successful pop groups in the world. The band have achieved 36 No.1 albums worldwide, scored 14 UK No.1 singles, sold more than 55 million records, amassed over 3 billion global streams and sold more than 6 million concert tickets worldwide.
Their hugely successful Wild Dreams Tour alone sold over 1.2 million tickets, while the band have played more than 200 shows across 30 countries since reuniting in 2019. Westlife also remain the UK and Ireland’s top-selling album group of the 21st century.
