Aer Lingus has announced a recruitment campaign to hire new cabin crew members at its Dublin base.

The airline is offering a limited number of fixed-term positions and is seeking candidates who are “professional, empathetic, and team-oriented, with the flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts,” according to a press release issued on Wednesday.

As part of the hiring process, successful applicants will undergo a six-week paid training programme. This training will cover key areas such as safety procedures, customer experience, first aid, and aviation regulations.

Upon completion, recruits will receive a European EASA Attestation – a globally recognised qualification for cabin crew members.

Once trained, new hires will join the airline’s Airbus fleet and have the opportunity to fly to a range of popular destinations across Europe and North America.

Anne Kiely, Chief People Officer at Aer Lingus, said the airline’s cabin crew “are at the centre of the Aer Lingus brand and play a vital role in delivering customer safety and exceptional service.”

“As our Dublin base grows, we’re looking for people who bring energy, empathy, and a natural drive to deliver outstanding customer experiences as part of a high-performing team,” she added.

To apply, candidates must be over 18 years old, fluent in English, hold a valid EEA passport, be eligible to obtain a US visa, and have at least 12 months of experience in customer service or sales.

Applications close on the 5th of September. For more details, visit the Aer Lingus careers page.
