The bodies of two females have been found at a property in Co Tipperary.
The scene has been closed off as Gardaí launch an investigation after the bodies of a woman and a girl, who were found at a property along Carrack-on-Suir yesterday afternoon.
While this investigation is at an early stage, it was reported that Gardaí are examining if these deaths resulted from a tragic medical emergency. At the scene, the bodies were reportedly discovered by a relative who arrived at the property.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene, where the woman and child were pronounced dead.
The Garda Press office have released this statement: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary this afternoon Friday 8th May 2026".
