Funerals for three people from Mullingar who died in a crash in Malaga last month are to be held on Thursday and Friday.
According to Rip.ie, Mark McCullagh-Crichton and Michaela Newcombe will have their funeral masses three hours apart on Thursday at the Cathedral of Christ the King in the Co Westmeath town.
Amy McCullagh, sister in law to Mark McCullagh-Crichton also passed away in the devastating crash. Her funeral mass will take place on Friday at Ballynacargy parish church. Her husband Ian was also in the crash and has sustained serious injuries as a result. She is survived by her husband and her three children.
The family have asked that any donations go to Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, who help bring bodies back to Ireland of people that have died abroad.
The two couples were in southern Spain on holiday when their rented car crashed. The Police said the crash occurred at 2:30am and the car went through a road barrier, plunged down an embankment and ended up on a nearby street.
An investigation into the incident is on-going and the cause of the crash is likely to be revealed.
