Met Éireann have said that temperatures could reach up to 21 degress over the weekend.
The national forecaster has said that the weather "will continue mainly dry and settled as high pressure dominates", with sunny spells also expected to continue into next week.
While today is expected to stay dry for most places, it is to get cloudier in the south and southwest. As for this evening, Munster is to see showers, with some turning heavy. The west is to see the warmest weather. Temperatures are to range between 14 and 21 degrees.
Showers are also expected across Leinster tomorrow morning, which are to clear by noon, remaining mostly dry with a mixture of cloud and some sunny spells. Highest temperatures are to stay between 13 and 16 degrees across the west of Ireland and 17 and 21C in the east.
Looking ahead to Sunday, Met Éireann have said that it is to remain dry, with a mixture of cloud and some sunny spells. Some showers are to hit Leinster and Ulster across the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures are to hit between between 14 and 18 degrees.

Matthew Martin, a meteorologist at Met Éireann has said that the high temperatures were "not too unusual" for this time of year, and added that temperatures are to even be around 2 or 3 degree above the normal temperature over the next week.
"It is not going to be all clear for the weekend, we do have some showers moving up, particularly in the south and west tonight", he said. "Otherwise, the weekend is looking mostly dry, a mix of cloud and sunny spells with temperatures getting up to between 15 and 21C".
Elsewhere, Martin said that a lot of uncertainty remains over forecasts from Thursday and into the May Bank Holiday.
But he stated that the good weather could possibly last until later next week.
He said: "There is certainly still some hope that it’ll hang on through the bank holiday weekend".
