In the aftermath of Storm Boelo, work to restore power to the remaining homes, farms and business affected by the storm, remains ongoing.
This comes as 41,000 properties lost power on Sunday, after the storm swept across from the Atlantic. By the evening, 5,000 premises were left without electricity. ESB Networks have since said that a number of premises were still without electricity in the north west yesterday afternoon.
Elsewhere, Northern Ireland Electricity Networks confirmed that power was restored to all 12,500 homes affected by Storm Boelo.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow wind warning which was in place for Donegal and Mayo for today has been cancelled, while the national forecaster has said that today will be mostly cool and blustery, with showers which are set to become widespread.
