The Prince of Wales made his first-ever appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, October 23, where he chatted about the series alongside fellow guests Cate Blanchett and Hannah Waddingham.
“I love it, the family love it,” William said of the celebrity version of the hit reality competition. “Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly.”
For anyone who has somehow managed to avoid the Traitors fever sweeping the country, the show sees a group of celebrities head to a castle in the Scottish Highlands, where a handful are secretly selected as Traitors.
Their job is to eliminate their fellow contestants without being discovered, while the remaining Faithful must work out who is lying and vote the Traitors out before it's too late.
Naturally, this involves plenty of suspicion, dramatic round-table discussions and accusations flying across the castle, making it essential viewing for anyone who enjoys a bit of backstabbing with their evening cuppa.

The celebrity spin-off has become a major hit, with the first series finale attracting an average overnight audience of 11.1 million viewers in 2025. The BBC later confirmed that the figure rose to 15 million when catch-up viewing was included.
The second celebrity series premiered on October 1, with Maya Jama, Richard E. Grant and Ross Kemp among the famous faces taking part.

William has even had a little fun with the show away from the television.
Earlier this month, he met actor Ross Kemp at an event for the National Emergencies Trust. Kemp had become particularly wary of physical contact after learning that a Traitor could secretly murder another contestant simply by touching them.
Speaking to Graham Norton, William revealed that he could not resist testing the actor's nerves.
“I couldn’t help but try, in the most appropriate way, to touch him to see what reaction I got from him,” he said. “Turns out he was really jumpy!”
While the royal family's viewing habits may be relatable, William's appearance on the show also had a more serious purpose.

The episode highlighted the Earthshot Prize, the environmental initiative he founded in 2020 to support solutions to some of the world's biggest environmental challenges.
Cate Blanchett is a member of the prize council, while Hannah Waddingham hosted the 2023 ceremony and Robert Irwin, who also appeared on the programme, is an ambassador.

The winners of this year's Earthshot Prize will be announced in Mumbai, India, on November 17. Five winners will each receive £1 million to help develop and expand their environmental projects.
Meanwhile, Charlotte and Louis have been settling back into school after the summer break, while their older brother, Prince George, has begun boarding at Eton College.
