Adele returned to the music charts last week when she dropped ‘Easy On Me,' the first song from her new album ’30’, marking her first new music in over five years.

When James disagreed with Adele during the interview, saying that fans would be happy to receive her music for the next 60+ years, the singer responded: “[Nobody wants to see me] when I’m 95 or hear me whining or chain-smoking, living like a Grey Gardens character with all my cats, being eaten alive.”

Adele also revealed during the interview that she worries about her new album leaking before its intended November 19th release date. She jokingly compared the production of the album’s vinyl records to the Netflix hit series Squid Game. “They’ve got people standing over them with guns,” she said. “I’m like, ‘If this album leaks…’

“But it didn’t leak last time [on ‘25’], which was a CD in a physical era so I’m feeling alright about it. It is what it is.”
