Three new stars have been added to the cast for the upcoming season of The White Lotus.
Season four of the series, is being filmed at Château de La Messardière, a five star property which provides magnificent views of the Mediterranean. While the story will remain along the CÔte d'Azur, the series will also be filmed in Cannes, Monaco and Paris.
Similar to previous seasons, The White Lotus will begin season four with a mysterious death, and a week of unravelling drama among wealthy guests.
It was reported in Variety that five household names were to join the cast ahead of the new season, which include New Girl star Max Greenfield, comedian Kumail Nanjiani, Agents of SHIELD's Chloe Bennet, Sweethearts' Charlie Hall, as well as The D Train's Jarred Paul.
Now, it has been confirmed that Max Minghella, Ben Kingsley, and Pekka Strang have also been added to the cast, which already includes Chris Messina and Marissa Long.
Elsewhere, AJ Michalka, Steve Coogan, Alexander Ludwig and Caleb Jonte Edwards have also been signed up for a new season.
News of this comes after it was confirmed that Laura Dern was to also join the White Lotus following the departure of Helena Bonham Carter after a few months on the show.
Confirming this news, HBO said: “It has become apparent that the character which [series creator] Mike White created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set. The role has subsequently been rethought, is being rewritten, and will be recast in the coming weeks, HBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won’t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon".
At the time of writing, no release date was confirmed for season four of The White Lotus. But it is expected to arrive at some stage in 2027.
