It was revealed that the stars daughter would be dropping Pitt's last name.
In an official document sourced by People, the 21-year-old made the request to the Superior Court of California on April 28, and during her graduation in May, her name was read out as "Zahara Marley Jolie."
Zahara's decision comes shortly after her brother, Maddox Jolie, also filed to have their father's last name removed. The 24 year old, who was adopted by Brad and Angelina had his name change finalised in May of this year. He explained at the time that his reasons for changing his name were "personal."
Another daughter of Brad and Angelina, Shiloh, decided in 2024 to have 'Pitt' removed from her name. Her lawyer, Peter Levine, told People that she made an independent and significant decision following "painful events."
Daughterm Vivienne has not legally changed her name, however, she went by 'Vivienne Jolie' on the playbill of The Outsiders in 2024.
Their two sons, Pax and Knox, have yet to state whether they will drop 'Pitt' from their names.
Brad and Angelina tied the knot back in 2014 and seperated two years later. Their divorce was finalised in 2024 after a long legal battle, during an interview with GQ, Brad was asked if he felt relief. He said: "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
