Coronation Street actor Rob Mallard has reportedly split from his partner of almost four years, Matthew Martin, marking the end of a relationship that became public in recent years after the pair attended the British Soap Awards together in 2023.
Mallard, best known for playing Daniel Osbourne on the long-running ITV soap, is said to have gone their separate ways with Martin, with both reportedly removing photos of each other from their social media accounts and unfollowing one another online.
The apparent social media clean-up has fuelled speculation that the couple have ended their relationship, which had previously been kept relatively private before they stepped out publicly together at industry events.

Rob Mallard has built a strong fan following through his role on Coronation Street, where his character Daniel has been central to several major storylines in recent years. Off-screen, the actor has often spoken about the pressures of public attention while maintaining a relatively low-key personal life.
Matthew Martin, who also has ties to the soap world, previously appeared in Coronation Street as a police officer in a storyline involving Cassie Plummer. In that plot, his character arrested Cassie after she attempted to drug and defraud Ken Barlow, one of the show’s most iconic long-running figures.
Alongside his brief acting appearances, Martin also works as a modelling agent.
While neither Mallard nor Martin has publicly commented on the reported split, their mutual removal of images and lack of recent appearances together have been widely noted by fans.
