Diane Keaton's cause of death has been revealed.
The actress, who famously starred in Annie Hall, The Godfather, and Father Of The Bride, passed away last week aged 79.
Now, Keaton's family have confirmed that she died of pneumonia.
In a statement to US media, the actresses' family said: "The Keaton family are very grateful for the extraordinary messages of love and support they have received these past few days on behalf of their beloved Diane, who passed away from pneumonia on October 11".
"She loved her animals and she was steadfast in her support of the unhoused community, so any donations in her memory to a local food bank or an animal shelter would be a wonderful and much appreciated tribute to her".
Following her death, Reese Witherspoon paid tribute to her "first mentor" Keaton, whom she said played a key part in her early career, casting her as a teenager in the film Wildflower in 1991, which was one of her first auditions. Find out more on this here.
