Gavin James has taken the No1 spot from Ed Sheeran in the Irish Album Chart with his release, Goldrush!
Goldrush is James's fourth studio album, and makes it a hattrick of Irish No1 Albums for the singer, following 2022's The Sweetest Part, and 2020's Boxes.
Sheeran had previously held the top sot, with his album, Play, his seventh Irish No1 overall. You can't beat the red heads can you?
Gavin James is celebrating the release of Goldrush with a series of special events across Ireland. He launched the release of this album with a residency at Doyle's Corner in Phibsborough, as well as an intimate show at Róisín Dubh in Galway.
He is also set to play intimate shows in the Netherlands and the USA later this year.
