Graham Norton has agreed a new three deal with the BBC for three more series of his popular talk show.
The presenter's show, titled The Graham Norton Show, was first launched in 2007 on BBC Two, before later moving to BBC One, having become a firm fixture of the BBC Friday night line up. Norton's show continues to draw in A list celebrities on his chatshow sofa, with recent names including singer Taylor Swift, who released her latest album, 'The Life Of A Showgirl'.
According to the BBC, the show has averaged 2.9 million viewers per episode across the run.
This deal will start with series 34, which airs next year. It was agreed with Norton and his production company, So Television.
"Getting to host my own chat show is a huge pleasure as well as a privilege", Norton said. "I’m thrilled that the BBC are allowing me to continue for another three years. The whole team is looking forward to bringing the world’s brightest stars into the homes of the great British public!".
On this deal, head of entertainment at the BBC, Kalpna Patel-Knight added: "We are thrilled that The Graham Norton Show will remain a flagship part of the BBC’s entertainment offering for another three series".

The Graham Norton Show will once again air on Friday at 10.40 pm and will see Norton chat with guests including Colin Farrell and Julia Roberts.
